I am a Ph.D. Researcher in Data Science at Sapienza University of Rome, recently returned from a Visiting Research period at the MIT Senseable City Lab in Cambridge, USA.

My research focuses on Multimodal Deep Learning and Computer Vision. I develop engineering-grade AI architectures to solve complex environmental and medical challenges—from fusing drone multispectral data with Street View imagery to correct “nadir blind spots” in urban forestry, to automating the diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease through handwriting analysis.

Highlights

  • MIT Visiting Researcher: Prototyped a framework fusing aerial multispectral and Street-Level RGB imagery to monitor Pinus pinea health. Employed computer vision to analyze thermal imagery of trees across Amsterdam, Boston, Dubai, and Los Angeles. Modeled the variation in cooling performance based on genus-specific traits, morphology, and water consumption to support climate-responsive greening policies.
  • International Speaker: Invited speaker at the RE-LEAF symposium (Rome, 2026) and Firestarter at the Venice Biennale (2025).
  • Published Researcher: Author of works in Movement Disorders Clinical Practice and Smart Agricultural Technology (2025).
  • Multidisciplinary Background: Tenured CS Teacher, roboticist, musician, and environmental advocate.
